Health(ier) Granola & Crumble Topping

A few simple changes make these recipes just a little bit healthier....




Granola ingredients


2 tbsp coconut oil

150ml maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

300g rolled oats

50g sunflower seeds

50g pumpkin seeds

50g flaked almonds

100g cashews

4 tbsp sesame seeds


Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Line a baking tray and spread the mixture evenly.

Cook at 170C for around 15-20mins stirring occasionally, until mix is golden and toasted.

Serve with your favourite milk, I like the Plenish brand of milk alternatives- no toxic ingredients, fillers or gums!






Crumble topping ingredients


160g GF plain flour

150g rolled oats

200g butter

1tsp vanilla extract

75g coconut sugar


Add ingredients to a food processor and pulse until 'crumbly', Alternatively you can do by hand.

I often make extra of this and freeze the rest.

Cooks at 180C for about 25-30mins
